Dragon Prince

Dragon Prince

Review:
The Dragon Prince is awesome. It has a highly entertaining story, clever humour, interesting characters, and tons of beautiful art. It also takes cues from some of the best elements in Avatar: the Last Airbender, and manages to make them feel fresh and uniquely it's own.
The lore and setting of The Dragon Prince have much to offer as well. Featuring a medieval setting with magic, knights, assassins, and, of course, dragons! There's so much to enjoy in The Dragon Prince.

Story:
The series is set in a fantasy world on the continent of Xadia, which is rich with magic derived from six primal elements. However, the humans - who could not utilize primal magic - discovered the use of dark magic, which is fueled by the life essence of animals and magical creatures. As a consequence, they were driven off by the dragons and elves of Xadia to the other end of the continent, where they founded the human kingdom. The Breach, the border between the two halves of the continent, was guarded by the king of dragons. After humans killed the dragon king and his egg. The elves attempt to assassinate the human king his heir, the young prince Ezran, as revenge for the egg's destruction. One among the elves, the young Rayla, along with Ezra and his older half-brother Callum, discovers that the dragon king's egg wasn't in fact destroyed, but stolen by the court mage. Together they undertake the three undertake a quest to return the egg to his mother.
